My life in a set of lists

The Bad:

-Lost apartment/dear roommate friendship

-Walked out of job due to putting up with emotional abuse for too long (make half my former income at my new job which also sux)

-Got dumped via Facebook messenger

-Dad diagnosed with cancer

-Ruined my finances and a series of important friendships due to my drug use

The Good:

-New job. Promotion to salary in three months.

-New downtown apartment. With the best roommates anyone could ask for.

-Car(!)

-Started therapy for my substance abuse issues and overall mental health

-Writing again

I just needed to see this all together somewhere. I’m very much a ‘keep my problems’ away from how I wish to be perceived by my friends and family kind of person. So posting them on the internet seems fit. The last six months have been so challenging, tough, and downright unfair - but I’m gonna keep trying my hardest to be the best version of myself possible and I’m keeping my fingers crossed the good list will be so much bigger come 2019.
